The proprietary technology of Micap plc.
This involves the microencapsulation of
active ingredients within yeast cells.

This offers a water insoluble matrix as a
complex delivery system for fat soluble
chemicals.

The core material may be for example;
essential oils, flavours, Class 2 and
Class 4 drugs, biocides, fungicides
or herbicides.

This technology offers the potential
of targeted release, retention
during high temperature
processing and protection
from evaporation of
volatile components.
