Micap Peppermint

The flavour: Micap Peppermint is processed from pure natural peppermint oil. Peppermint is a hybrid mint, a cross between watermint and spearmint. It is native to western, central and southern Europe from the British Isles east to southern Scandinavia and western Russia, south to Iberia, and southeast to the Balkans, being found wild occasionally with its parent species. Peppermint is widely used in sweets and drinks all over the globe.

Benefits: Peppermint flavour is a very volatile Flavour which evaporates quickly during manufacturing of products. Some applications also require a slow release of the peppermint flavour to extend the long lasting flavour in the end product. Micap Peppermint is protected against early evaporation so that it saves raw material costs and makes the final products taste better.

Range of application: Micap Peppermint is used as a flavouring in tea, ice cream, confectionery, chewing gum, toothpaste and mint-flavoured confectionery.
