Micap Onion is produced using pure natural essential Onion oil which is carefully extracted from selected Onions and excludes any additional vegetable oil or flavour carriers. This purity results in an authentic and intensive typical onion flavour which is approved to meet the highest consumer standards. The use of Onion flavour in many food and snack products is becoming more and more popular. Onion flavour is usually very poorly heat stable so that it loses its profile in production processes. Micap Onion is heat stable and delivers the full Onion taste through to the final product.
Benefits: Micap Onion is heat and baking stable so that the fine Onion flavour survives very well into the final product. Natural liquid Onion flavour is one of the most expensive flavoured raw materials as Onions contain only 0,01% essential oil. Micap`s technology helps to protect the Onion flavour in your application so that you can benefit from reduced raw material costs.

Recommendation: For the use in smaller Batch sizes of dry product blends we recommend that you use our Micap Onion 2%. For larger Batch sizes or Liquid products such as sauces we recommend that you use the Micap Onion 20% product.
