Flavour License Deal

Micap Plc is delighted to announce signing an exclusive license deal with Firmenich

The Company has signed an exclusive royalty based license deal for the use of Micap (TM) technology for flavour delivery in savoury applications, with Firmenich, the world’s third largest flavour and fragrance company. The technology is particularly well suited to the protection and delivery of flavours in applications. and will complement Firmenich's existing microencapsulation systems - Durarome(R) and Flexarome (R).

Under the terms of the deal Firmenich have committed to specific minimum royalty levels, and milestones for commercial development. They will continue to evaluate the technology for other food and beverage applications. As the result of significant levels of commitment on both sides, this agreement marks the turning point for the techology from development to commercilialisation.
